Hi, I'm Calvin Trieu

I’m a performance and nutrition coach, currently pursuing a PhD in Kinesiology with a focus in exercise physiology. I also host The Calvin Trieu Podcast, where I break down the psychology behind sustainable behavior change and dive into all things health and human performance.

My background spans a mix of barbell strength sports and endurance training. I’ve gone through multiple knee surgeries and the rehab process, and I’ve worked in both clinical and coaching settings. Along the way, I’ve written for fitness and strength sport platforms and contributed to scientific research. All of these experiences has influenced how I connect and coach my clients.

I built PRFM, a group coaching–based training program rooted in evidence-based strength and conditioning, running principles, and long-term behavior change.

At the core of it, my mission is to help people move better, feel better, and show up ready to perform—whether that’s in the gym, at work, in their relationships, or simply in life.
